‘Step into Asia’ develops students' intercultural understandings through online global projects enabling students to learn about and interact with Asian cultures and communicate with Asian schools. The project supports the delivery of these interactions by skilling teams of classroom teachers in how to use a variety of web 2.0 tools to build professional networks, links, and to communicate and collaborate online. Delivery will be embedded into lessons and linked to current curriculum. Teachers will plan and implement the project according to student developmental levels, and will be supported to develop their own technology and cultural skills through professional learning days. The procedures and processes used will be made available to other interested schools via this wikispace and our Asian Literacy resource page
